The Conservator Accounting Coordinator requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to quickly grasp operational processes, and interact very professionally with the staff, courts, attorneys, clients and families. Primarily responsible for preparing and finalizing the annual accounting’s due monthly for the Conservator and VA case’s. Supportive service duties to include but not limited to archiving, quality review support, dual control, special projects and reporting assistance as needed. This position requires caring customer service and an ability to speak with clients who may have impairments. Courtesy and prompt responsiveness are qualities that are necessary to manage monthly deadlines. Must possess the ability to effectively work with numerous Courts, social agencies, banks, attorneys, and clients throughout the state. Very strong organizational skills are a must in the fast-paced environment. Must be proficient in Excel. A college degree, paralegal, legal and accounting experience is preferred. Additionally, an understanding of budgets, preparation of accounting’s, ability to accurately process client bills, and championing for the clients is mandatory.
