Conservator Financial Education & Counseling

You have received your funds. Now what?

Learn how to properly manage your money to make it last. Our certified Financial Counselors are available for one – on – one appointments via virtual and over the phone sessions. Origin offers financial counseling for a one time fee of $56. This fee will be waived for current conservatorships that Origin SC is serving as Conservator.

You will learn how to:

Set up & maintain your bank account
Create a budget & action plan
Avoid predatory lenders
Read & understand your credit report
Establish credit & use it wisely
Avoid identity theft
Understand student loans & financial aid
And so much more!

At the end of your counseling session, you will receive a certificate of completion to provide to the courts.
